I thought it might be a nice idea to add a picture of what the frit looks like on the shelf before it goes into the kiln to be turned into frit balls. Since I forgot to take a picture of the clear frit before it went into the kiln, this is a picture of the next batch, ready to head into the kiln for firing. This frit is a blue green from Bullseye Glass called “light aquamarine.”

By the way, the ring around the glass shards is there only while I arrange them. I use it to keep the shards from falling off the edge of the shelf while I’m working. The ring does get removed before I fire the glass. At the time of this post, the shelf pictured here has already been fired, the frit balls cleaned and dried, and now I’m working on a shelf full of “light sky blue” frit. Progress…
